Call the PATH Project helpline for free legal help.
The Path Project serves as an information and advocacy center for minors facing difficult pregnancy choices. We help teens under the age of 18 navigate the courts so that they can make decisions about their own reproductive health care.
As with any medical professional, we suggest that you look for a clinic that you think will take good care of you and make you as comfortable as possible. It is important that your doctor is licensed, and we list only licensed clinics on this site. In addition, some clinics are members of the National Abortion Federation ("NAF") which provides guidelines and oversight. The National Abortion Federation's mission is to ensure safe, legal and accessible abortion care; you can read more about them at www.prochoice.org. We encourage you to talk with the people at the clinics in your area so you can make an informed decision about your health care.
Different clinics may have different services available and charge different prices. If you are having difficulty getting the money together for an abortion, ask the clinics you call if they are able to assist with funding. Many clinics work with local funding organizations, or will refer you to a fund to call on your own.
