Call the PATH Project helpline for free legal help.
The Path Project serves as an information and advocacy center for minors facing difficult pregnancy choices. We help teens under the age of 18 navigate the courts so that they can make decisions about their own reproductive health care.
The questionnaire below is a good way to prepare yourself for questions that might be asked in court. If you can, please print it out, read the instructions and answer the questions before you meet with your attorney.
FOR TEENS: THINGS TO THINK ABOUT BEFORE GOING TO COURT
When you meet with your lawyer, she or he will explain the court process to you. To prepare for that meeting, and for your court hearing, you should download our questionnaire and think about your answers to the questions. PLEASE CLICK HERE and complete this form before meeting with your lawyer. Keep this questionnaire and any other clinic materials regarding your pregnancy options (sonogram results, brochures, etc.) in a safe place where you can get to them when needed. You will be expected to bring all this paperwork with you when you meet with your lawyer.
